Meet the Founders of Scalestack
Scalestack was founded in 2023 by Duy Le (Co-founder & CEO), Duc Anh Dam (Co-founder & CTO), Steve Gaskill (Co-founder & Advisor), and Nguyen Tran (Co-founder & Head of Vietnam Operations).
Duy Le
Co-founder & CEO
Duy leads engineering at Scalestack. He holds an Honours BSc in Computer Science from the University of Toronto and has spent over seven years leading engineering teams and building production systems at scale.
In his previous role, Duy led the full rebuild of the company's real estate platform, designing the new architecture from the ground up and running a phased migration that moved the live business across with zero disruption. The new platform runs more than twice as fast, costs significantly less to operate, and scales automatically with demand, giving the company the headroom to expand into the United States.
At Scalestack, Duy brings the same thoughtful, pragmatic approach to every client engagement: building systems that fit where the business is today and scale cleanly as it grows.
Duc Anh Dam
Co-founder & CTO
Duc Anh sets Scalestack's technical direction. He has spent more than a decade in game development and over five years building production blockchain infrastructure, with a full-stack range running from C++ and Solidity to Node.js, React, Go, and Kubernetes. He studied Computer Engineering at Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore.
At Ultra he has led blockchain infrastructure for the company's gaming platform since 2020: the NFT smart contracts behind its marketplace, a custom Antelope-based protocol built for zero-fee transactions and simplified onboarding, and a cross-chain token bridge to EVM-compatible networks supporting the ERC-20 and ERC-721 standards.
Earlier he built server-side gameplay in C++ and Scala for KIXEYE's Vega Conflict, a multiplayer strategy game with millions of players, holding 99.9% uptime on live services, and spent six years in full-cycle PC and console game development. At Scalestack he brings that depth across the portfolio, from game and 3D work to payments and AI systems.
Steve Gaskill
Co-founder & Advisor
Steve brings nearly 30 years of advisory experience and 20 years of operating in Vietnam to Scalestack. He trained with Deloitte in the UK and has held senior roles across the UK, Thailand, Vietnam, and Canada.
At PwC Vietnam, he built the M&A advisory practice into the largest among the Big 4 and led the Consulting practice through a fourfold expansion, playing a central role in some of the country's largest deals.
He is now a director at Lynn Growth Partners and Viva Consulting in Vancouver, and a Senior Advisor at Catalyst Advisory Vietnam. At Scalestack, he guides commercial strategy and client partnerships.
Nguyen Tran
Co-founder & Head of Vietnam Operations
Nguyen runs Scalestack's operations on the ground in Vietnam. His career spans Singapore, Montreal, and Vancouver, with a decade of experience across finance, strategy, and startup operations.
He was an early operator at Bench Accounting in Vancouver, where he drove process and systems work that scaled with the company. He then founded two drone hardware companies, growing one to 10x annual revenue in under five years.
Back in Vietnam, he oversees Lynn Growth Partners' regional investments and leads Scalestack's team, hiring, and delivery operations so engineering can stay focused on building.
